This evening we started spraying the roses for the year. Each year we suffer a lot from Blackspot, and over the winter we have cleared all the old rose leaves and burnt them. We have also cleared the soil under the roses in an attempt to reduce the blackspot as much as possible.
We also have moved the roses that are more susceptible to the disease, replacing with older varieties that are not as prone to the problem.
