Well earned rain

Last night saw the first real rain for some time, a number of weeks in fact.

The garden is in real need of some decent rain; we spent a couple of weeks in France, and while someone was supposed to be looking after the garden while we were away, the garden certainly suffered over this time.

Now we are back, and working in the gargen again, the plants are showing signs of improvement. This is probably only short lived, however, the painters move in at the weekend to paint the outside of the house. This will require all of the plants to be moved off of the walls of the house.
